The Gel packs are much more convenient when you are travelling, then bringing bottles along. However, I do not like that they are marked with a Label. If you are in a friend’s house, and reapply from a gel pack, you cannot throw the gel pack in the trash, since they may see the package.
For bottles it is easy to just remove all identifying labels. I really wish that we could buy gel Packs that were more anonymous looking as well.

My thought, exactly!
I am using Acetone to wipe off the imprint.
It does not come off without some scrubbing, it\'s requires some effort and is messy, but it works.

Why not just tear up the empty gel pack? That\'s what I do when using SOE gel packs, especially at work.
I doubt anyone is going to look that closely in the garbage.
I heard nail polish remover removes the writing

Sunny, have you tried just using alcohol? Like from a cologne or whatever.

Easy, just \"wrap\" some toilet paper into the gel packet and throw it out! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

I find it is quite easy to remove or smudge the label enough with just a little of the remaining gel. Just try rubbing it with a small amount of toilet tissue to keep the ink from staining your fingertips.

A couple swipes with rubbing alcohol takes it all off. While travelling I carry Jack Daniels in a travel flask and a dab of JD does the trick as well.

What a waste of good JD.

I also do not want people to know what i have been using. I wrap the empty gel packs in tissue or paper towel then throw them away deep in the garbage can.
Above all, Do not give away your secret mojo.
