Folks,
Try the new forum instant messaging feature (SMS). It's handy and a quick way to get someone's attention. Just click on anyone in the "currently active users" area and the rest is obvious.
Let us know what you think, and give Webmaster another big hug if you run into him. :-)
Love,
Bruce

Can you not use it if you're invisible or send it to the invisible people?

Only a non invisible person can send you one and then you can reply. A non invisible can't send one first to an invisible. :D
I asked Mr. Webmaster about that last night. :)

In other words, Elana, you have to let your royal presence be known in order to maximize the number of men hitting on you at one time on this forum...

I can't use the SMS feature anymore with my Netscape browser. The "send this SMS to..." button on the bottom doesn't show if I am using this browser. With IE it works.

I've answered an SMS and sent two out, but I dont know if they're working. The one I answered continues to pop up every time I click on anything on the forum. :\

Does SMS only work with Internet Explorer?

It works on my Mac with a Safari browser. The key point is to turn off any pop-up blockers.

I'm about to turn my pop-up blocker on. An SMS I got earlier, and answered, continues to pop up every time I go to a new thread on this forum. Any way to fix this?
Hey, did you know you can send yourself one of these fetish messages? Itīs fun try it ! :D

If you're using AKiller, there is an option you can set to support NS browsers. OTOH, you can't make IP-based exceptions to your rules.
I did find that the Yahoo popup-blocker will fry SMS messages, though. I wouldn't use anything from Yahoo. They install spyware on you computer and allow popups THEY like all over the place.

I haven't any problems with Yahoo Email. It's the downloadable gadgets you have to watch.
