Hey buddy i ordered AE from you (1st time) i live in Canada I ordered it on
06/17/2004 and mailed in my money order the day after and was received on
06/23/2004 and shipped on the same day now it's
07/06/2004 Still nothing in the mail box it's been far beyond the shipping days which was stated

i know it's States to CDN but it shouldn't take this time since my mail got to ya fast and i believe your sending a mail but with weight envelope.. there shouldn't be a difference. So how long till i get it buddy

The difference is customs and it is a very big difference. They can let one package straight through for a 7 day delivery (4 days is impossible regardless of what the PO tells you) and sit on the next one for a week before they even look at it. Then set it on some bureaucrats desk for another week to fill out papers for local consumption tax. Like I told you fifty times already by PM, packages take longer than letters. Your package is still very very very very much on schedule.

I lived in Canada before I moved South.
I ordered a XMAS gift form V. Secrets that was to be shipped to an old girlfriend in Toronto.
It didn't arrive so I called back and request that they reship to my US address, then I reshipped it using simple US mail with no difficulty.

I sent my father some colonge and filled out that customs form at the post office but he never got it.

My advice is to try and eliminate customs all together if posibble just put it in a suitable padded envolope and drop it in the mailbox, this works for me

Even that is no protection against Canadian customs agents. Now, if you only ship 1 single bottle and your write "Jack Smith" in the return address area, then you are probably going to be OK, but if there are several items in there and the return label has anything that looks like a company in there, then there is *going* to be delays. The good news is that virtually *all* shipments get thru. The bad news is that:
A. Delays of 2-3 weeks are common
B. Local taxes are also common

I'm in Canada and I can tell you that customs has been very hungry duty and GST lately. My last two shipments have required additional payment. When I first started order the smaller ones would just slip through.
I use the Global Priority route too just because I have no one sitting at home to sign for a courier and I don't want it sent to my office. I usually find an attempted delivery slip in my mailbox and just head over to the local post office (place to pick up will be on the slip) and pick it up... and pay the duty and GST. FYI my post office at least will take Mastercard or Visa if I don't have the cash in my pocket and I find it to be around $10 for a small shipment (one or two items with a total value of $100 US or less).

Mine arrived within a week, but I paid by CC and it shipped pretty much same day. I expect my next order to be in any time this week too. No big delays at customs that I've seen... maybe lost a day tops... but maybe I've just been lucky so far.

i got another question .. i'm wondering if the carrier did come to my door and asked my parents to sign it .. and they refused it (which most of the time they do) how the heck do i unrefuse it .. cuz they don't know that i'm gettin a colgne or anything if they do they'll kill me ... cuz i think thats what might have happened and i can't ask them cuz they'll know. is there a way to unrefuse? or go to the mail office and check if i got any?

I still wouldn't panic yet, but you might be able to check with your local PO to see if they have a record of a delivery attempt. If they are friendly, they might be able to advise you about that sort of thing. If your parents refused it, it will make its way eventually to our warehouse. I don't think there is anyway to stop it in the middle of its way back to us. In the future, you could have it sent to a friend's house or get a PO box, maybe.

I poked my nose around some more and found out that the mistake was partly ours. Tammy put a 3 instead of an 8 in your address. Now it seems to me, your mail-carrier should have caught that and delivered it properly based on your name and that you live 2 house away, but no.... that would have been too easy. They sent it all the way back marked "invalid address". Sheesh! Anyway, we will send it back to you priority mail at our expense.
