Suggestion : Lower international shipping rates

Hi, i am new to this site and this forum. I would like to make a suggestion that international shipping rates should be lower. I mean, i live in australia and the cheapest option is US$30.60! I presume that a lot of business is lost because of this. I certainly can't afford that. I can get stuff on ebay from the US and Canada and shipping is usually between US$8 -$10. Are lower shipping rates possible? I'd like to be a customer of love-scent. Jaffa

You might be able to talk to Bruce about sending it by regular mail, but the package won't be protected if customs decide to take it.

Regular mail sounds good to me; does anyone know about customs in Australia with regards to perfumes / pheromones?

Keep in mind that if Bruce does agree to ship it US Post, you will be responsible if it gets lost. He had several problems with international shipments getting lost in the past and that's why he went FedEx. People get their packages.

also, if u use fedex, you avoid customs and taxes. For example I ordered a few things from ls and found the value came to about $100. While i was in norway they came through with no problems but when i ordered a dvd that was over $20, they would tax it.

Personally I am very happy with the regular mail option ( Europe ) as it's very cheap and fairly quick. Love-scent is one of the few sites with so low shipping rates who actually ship the package the same day.

Belgareth, I hope Bruce will continue with the international regular mail option.

I am also very happy with Bruce's low rate international shipping option. I have ordered many times from Love-Scent and every time pretty much got my order within 2 weeks at the very most and I live in Australia!

I am extremely happy with the rate I paid to the UK, and think it is more than reasonable, to be honest.

The products came super-fast and superbly packaged, to boot.

Just to contribute my 2 cents worth re shipments between Europe and the US:

With regular mail I have found that packages can arrive as fast as 5 days OR take as long as 4 weeks!

Jafffa: Where does it say that it's over $30? I saw the cheapest option being like... $7 or something...
Visionary: Thanks for posting how long it took to get to you. I've been trying to find that out. I live in New Zealand, so then it shouldn't be too much longer than yours... two weeks!!! that's too long!!! i want to try it out now!!! :-P
