This is true, just happened today...
I go to the city today, it's Memorial weekend, so I knew there'd be lots of people around. I take in a movie, and then hit the mall. I bring with me three packs of chikara. I apply one before the movie. At the mall, nothing interesting happens. Discouraged, I decide to grab a bite to eat before heading home so I hit my favorite mexican place.
I flirt with the hostess a bit, she smiles but doesn't strike up a conversation. I get a male waiter, so no go there. I'm eating my chips and salsa waiting for my entree when a girl catches my eye across the room. She's probably about three years older than me, very pretty, and most of all she's staring at me. Ok, I think, this could be interesting. I return her gaze, just like the books say, and smile. She smiles a little and looks away. Hmm. I get my tea refilled several times (I consume alot of liquid on a daily basis), and feeling good, I joke around with my waiter:
waiter: Refill? (points to my glass)
me: Yes please. (points to salsa) It's alittle hot for me, but I like it.
waiter: (looks at me funny)(Chuckles) It IS good. We got some stuff in the back that's hotter.
me: Don't do me no favors (we laugh)
So I'm eating chips and salsa and having a grand time as I get noticed not only by this girl across the room but also the hostess! Ok, so maybe the chikara's kicking in. I've only applied a WHOLE pack. But hey, things are going well right? Some other people come in, a few other women, and after awhile they look over in my direction as well. OMG! I'm pretty sure I blush. I'm not used to this kind of attention. I can't keep from smiling. The first girl is stilling looking at me, grinning. I look back at her and grin. I notice that guys are looking at me as well. WTF? Not sure what to make of that, but anyway me and this girl are really burning a hole through each other. But with the dim lights of the restuarant, something isn't right. When one looks another in the eye, you can feel it. I strain my eyes in her direction and notice that she's looking somewhat lower. ??? I look down....
At the large glob of salsa splayed across my shirt.
