i recently got a sports supplement called ester creatine it works AWESOME:cheers: !!!! But the odor :sick: is quite sickining . Why would ester creatine smell so terribly bad ? Dont esters usaly smell good ? This a pipe dream but all you chemist:type: that design pheromones and fragrances could you design an esterfied creatine that doesnt smell so gawd awfull rank

esters are a name for a chemical compound that is formed from reaction between a carboxylic acid and an alcohol. Sometimes this is generalized to just an organic acid and alcohol, but nothing precludes it from smelling bad.

Some esters smell really bad. I think the issue is that esters have a reputation of being fairly aromatic.

Just ordered some CEE bulk. I figure it's cheap, so at worst I won't be losing much.
