The attraction/arousal mechanism is dampened by

genetic similarity in most cases. Some studies (e.g., in the Israeli Kibbutz) suggest that mutual familiarity with

the natural body odor of children who are raised together is preventative for sexual arousal. Other aspects of this

phenomenon were discussed in my book.
